Cybersecurity Hangouts is the result of a conversation held between a couple of cybersecurity professionals who wanted to find a way to contribute to the cybersecurity community.

The CySec Hang was crafted to be a place where questions about securing cyberspace are answered by proven professionals who are eager to encourage information sharing.

With an extensive amount of resources available on the internet, it can be overwhelming to a person looking to begin in the cybersecurity profession.  Technological advances drive the need for cybersecurity experts, while simultaneously inundating the aspiring cybersecurity practitioner with options traditional colleges cannot prepare them for.  We wanted a way to answer the questions, reduce the clutter, and light the way for others on their journey through cyberspace. 

At CySec Hang, we understand how intimidating it can be to have questions about a profession and not have a friend to turn to for answers.  We have been there, and we wanted to make the journey to securing cyberspace almost effortless for the people that simply wanted to make the world of digital information a little bit safer.

The answers to your questions should be FREE. We want to help our cybersecurity “brothers”, “sisters”, “theys”, etc. to learn so that we can all help to create a safe cyber space in a crazy cyber world.
